In this chapter, I will introduce the British Idealists and some important aspects of their philosophy. In section 1.1, you can find brief introductions to some of the more important British Idealists and their works. In 1.2, then, I will go into their philosophy, describing their Idealist views and stances on religion, politics, morality and history. Section 1.3 will be a summary.
