In this chapter, I wonder what is so Idealist or idealistic about British Idealism. These are two different terms - by Idealist I mean as in philosophical Idealism, while idealistic is the ordinary, ractical form of idealism. I will define each of these terms - the philosophical one in 2.1 and the practical in 2.2 - and explain how British Idealism relates to them. In 2.3, I will draw a conclusion based on my findings.
